Muslim Journeys: Poetry for the Soul

In association with a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities,
West Community Branch Library will feature a presentation on spiritual poetry, including select works of Rumi and other poets.
The program will be facilitated by Kelly Malizia, Library Program Director and Professor Sheree Greer, and will include a companion display featuring select works of each poet and spotlights on similar poetry.

Select Mondays and Wednesdays - Main Library, Mirror Lake Branch, and North Branch

Practice reading with one of our our reading therapy dogs! Children can practice their reading with a patient, attentive friend in a relaxed atmosphere. Our four-legged reading tutors will help children gain confidence in their reading.
