Jazz in the Stacks

In honor of Jazz Appreciation Month, the West Community Library will host Jazz in the Stacks, a free concert featuring the O Som Do Jazz Brazilian Band on. Som Do Jazz recaptures the spirit of 1960-80s Brazilian Bossa Nova, samba-jazz, samba-funk and MPB. The band features Rio de Janeiro singer Andrea Moraes Manson and musicians experienced in Brazilian music. This event is sponsored by EMIT, St. Petersburg College, and the Friends of the West Community Library@ SPC Gibbs

Accepting adult English language learners for no-cost tutoring. All skill levels welcome. Volunteers also needed to work one-to-one with an adult English as a Second Language student to improve conversational English. Application and registration is required.
